I am having so much fun playing with this harlequin stamp set from PTI.  With just one of the stamps you can create such cool patterns.  I made another pattern that reminds me of Q-bert and another one that you'll see on Tuesday's new ColourQ card.  I think that one's my favorite.  Can't wait to show you.

 

 

I am also entering this card into the JUGS156 challenge.  It's a little (a lot) early, but Ryan and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in May.  I'm sure I'll end up making another card before the time comes, but the mood hit me to make it. 

 

 

We had such a good time last night.  For my birthday, Ryan gave me tickets to see Missy Higgins.  We saw her at the Tower Theater.  It was such a great little place with great sound.  After her show she came out to say hello and sign autographs.  I got my CD signed.  So cool!

Yay!! It's time for the 12 Kits of Christmas! 

This month was my turn to send a kit to everyone in the group.  I'm so excited to see what everyone has made! I included many of the products from the All Is Bright line from MME.

Now that we are getting closer to Christmas, I decided to send everyone a notepad to decorate and use to help them stayed organized during the holiday season!

Each month we also CASE a card from a previous kit.   I decided to CASE a card that Christina made

with the August kit.

Reflected Sentiments

Make It Monday

 

This was a fun technique that I plan to experiment with more.  My reflected image came out a bit splotchy.  I'm not sure if it was due to the ink or the acetate or what....

I really love how this card came out.  I stamped the Faux Stripes onto Kraft cardstock and then die cut it using one of the Counting My Blessings word dies.  For the background, I stamped the rectangle and then masked it off to stamp the two trees, then colored the leaves with Copics.

Grateful For You

 

I have been so lucky to meet so many wonderful people through my hobby. 

Everyone has been so kind and generous!  This heart die was another birthday surprise I received from a sweet friend I have made through a mutual love of paper crafting.

I was so shocked when I received this die and a few other goodies yesterday.

So grateful for you!  Thanks again!

 My brother is coming for a visit this weekend.
