Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop Challenge

Saturday, September 25, 2010

These vintage inspired Christmas ornaments were created using the umbrellas stamps from Scattered Showers.

I have learned so many things from fellow stampers.  From techniques to color combinations.  From new product lines to must have tools.  From challenges to inspiration.  But, the most important thing I have learned from all of my fellow stampers is how versatile all these products we collect are! Whether you are limited on funds for your stamping supplies or just like to make the most of your purchases, there is more to our supplies than meets the eye.  I love to play with my supplies, often without the intention of creating a final product.  I find it so satisfying when I can learn to see things in a different way.  I find that for me, this only (or most often) comes from experimenting.  I have often gone to my favorite blogs, and there are many, and said ,"Wow, I never would have thought to use it that way!".  I find that so inspiring!!  So, thanks everyone for sharing your creativity with me.  It has made me push myself to become more creative too.  Enjoy the Hop today:)

  9. Both look great. This is the first time I've been able to participate with the PTI fun being from Wales so the time difference never allowed. I'm also new to PTI products and have only just had my first order so am having loads of fun seeing what others create with the items.
