I wanted to create a white on white look, but I felt a lot of the detail was lost that way. I decided to gold emboss the flowers and leaves in order to keep the detail visible, but also still very light. I love how it turned out and I think it would be beautiful for a wedding.

I made this project for a friend who just adopted a new family pet!

I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for the Blog Hop!

Although my project says "Pet Shop" I strongly encourage people to adopt a pet. There are so many loving animals that need a good home. We adopted our German Shepherd, Lady, when she was 3 years old. She has been a loving companion for the last 6 years. We can't imagine our lives without her! :)

Curtain Call 44 and 2S4Y Challenge

Today's card is for 2 challenges. The first is for this week's 2S4Y sketch challenge. I turned the sketch on its side. I used 3 clouds to represent the 3 boxes on the sketch.
The second challenge is Curtain Call 44 color challenge. I'm not ready to let go of summer just yet, so these colors and this photo really inspired me.

Making My Own Blossoms

The idea for these flowers came to me while looking at my bathroom tiles. Inspiration strikes in the strangest places!

I airbrushed them to give the petals a variegated look. I still need more time with the airbrush system to really get comfortable with it. These flowers are more flecked than I had intended, but I'm not unhappy with the final result.
