On Your Birthday

This card couldn't be farther from my style, but in the spirit of experimentation I just let it develop. I wanted to do more with the idea of creating ombre with my copics and other materials. This time I used the Lavender Moon copic trio on a self-adhesive lace border by K&Co.

This card was also the first time I tried masking. Hard to believe, isn't it?

So, I'm not in love with it. It was fun to make and plan to use some of what I learned while making it on other projects. I'm looking forward to PTI Blog Hop, because it also involves experimenting with tissue paper. Join the fun if you can!
