There's No One Else Like You

Tuesday, July 24, 2018

Hey! I haven't been spending much time inside these last few weeks.  The weather was so warm and beautiful.  Now we have started getting daily thunderstorms that force me back inside and into my craft room! Not a bad thing!  I pulled out this fun Wreath Turnabout set from Concord and 9th.  I decided to stamp in shades of blue and brown. I used Papertrey Ink's Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening and Dark Chocolate.

I die cut the words Thank You using the No One Else Die from WPlus9.  I used both the positive and negative to create two designs at once.  These are quick and easy Thank You cards when you need one in a pinch!

ASL Love

Friday, February 2, 2018

Hello! TGIF!  I just added a ton of beautiful projects to the Friday Inspiration File Week #348.  Check them out.

I ordered this amazing ASL Love set by Altenew and it came just in time for me to make a birthday card for the student I interpret for.  Her favorite color is teal so I chose this trio of inks by PTI.  They are linked below.

For the stamped background I alternated the three colors for each letter in her name stamped over and over again.  I layered on top a panel with her name and the Happy Birthday sentiment.  A little "ILY" hand on the back is the finishing touch.

I gave her the card today and she was thrilled to see the ASL Alphabet on there!  Have an awesome weekend!

Happy Birthday Holly

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

Hey! Today I have a card to share that I made for my friend, Holly. Tomorrow is her birthday.  I used the Concord and 9th You Are Here stamp set to create a colorful background.  I stamped the large floral heart image 4 times with the point of the hearts meeting in the center of the card panel.  I colored the flowers and leaves with Copic markers in 3 shades of blue, 3 shades of pink and 3 shades of green {all linked below}  I colored the darkest shade of each color with clear Wink Of Stella.

I used the Concord and 9th Sophisticated Script stamp set to personalize Holly's card.  I drew one pencil line across the oval die cut, from WP9 Anastasia Tag die, as a guide for stamping my letters and it was really easy to stamp them straight on the first try.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Yay! It's Your Birthday

Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Hello!  Today I've got a fun card to share with you.  I love stamping plaid designs.  I chose a mix of masculine and feminine colors that really make it unisex if you change up the embellishments.  I actually didn't attach the girl yet until I know who I'm sending it to.  Leaving my options open! The adorable girl is from the new WP9 set called The Crew: Garden Club.  I colored her with Copics that matched the WP9 dye ink I used for my plaid {Cranberry Crush, Nautical Navy and Shell Pink}

To stamp my plaid I used a set from Papertrey Ink called Faux Ribbons, but you could any number of sets on the market.  I've linked a few similar sets below.

The large sentiment is from another PTI set called Stylish Sentiments Birthday.  Love that set!

Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of your week.
