Wow! It's Tuesday already? 

ColourQ has a beautiful new color challenge for you!

I recently purchased my first impression plates.  I'm a little late to the party, but I couldn't wait to try the 'letter press' technique.  Before embossing the wrought iron I rubbed the plate with ink.  then I ran it through my cuttlebug.  I love the way it came out!

Friday Inspiration File #66

Happy Friday!!  It is the ending of a long week.  We had standardized testing this week, but now the pressure is off and I'm looking forward to the weekend!  As always, there were so many beautiful projects to see.  Check out some of them here....#66!

And remember when I told you I was in the middle of a baby boom?  I found out that the co worker that is pregnant is pregnant with...triplets!  Two boys and a girl.  Wow!

12 Kits Of Christmas {April}

Each month a member of the 12 Kits group sends supplies to all of the other members to create Christmas cards.  The goal is to get a majority of our Christmas cards done before the mad dash in Nov/Dec.  This month it was Marybeth's turn.  As you can see (above) she sent out a great kit.  So far I have made two cards, but I have a plan in mind for a few of the die cuts that I haven't used yet! 

Marybeth stamped this lamp on a piece of white cardstock.  I decided to cut mine out and use Copics to create a warm glow inside the lamp.  I love the way it turned out.  It reminds me of walking through a small town that decorates their main street for the holidays.

This card was fun to make. 

I got the chance to work with some die cuts that I don't own, but have wanted to try.

You {are my happy}

After dinner last night we got home about 8:00.  Ryan pretty much conked out at 8:30, which never happens!  The house was nice and quiet and I wasn't tired so I decided to spend a little time in my craft room.  I found this little notebook die cut in a little drawer on my desk and decided to use it as my starting point.  I don't think I would have put these two colors together intentionally, but while playing around with the supplies on my desk I liked the way they looked.

 

I'm looking out the window now and the sky is so blue!!

It's going to be a beautiful day. 

We'd better get out there:)
