Friday Inspiration File {Week #256}

We made it!  It's Friday.

True Friends Are Magic

Today is the monthly Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.  My eye was drawn to an area on the bottom left of the inspiration photo.  I built my design around that small section.

 

 

  I started by adding two shades of pink distress ink to a piece of white cardstock.  On top of that, I stamped just the vein images from Leaf Prints.  I also added a stamped sentiment from Half and Half.  On another piece of white cardstock I created a patterned paper by repeatedly stamping another sentiment from the Half and Half set.   

 

I layered up all the pieces and added another die cut word from the EH Positive Word die set to finish it off!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I'll be by to visit you when I come home from work!

Awesome And Amazing

 

 Hey guys.  

It's already Hump Day!That was fast. 

Today I have two simple cards I created

using the positive and negative of a mask. 

 

 

I can't stop using this amazing {and awesome, wink!}

WP9 set called Happy Wishes.  I love how these flowers, stamped around the circle, create the illusion that the masked area is rounded.  Cool!

 

These die cut sentiments are from a die set from EH called Positive Word.  The font is beautiful.  They are so delicate, but bold enough to carry the card.  I added the 'you are' from another EH called Totally Awesome.

Good Morning! 

It's Monday...again! ;)

We had a great weekend hanging out with friends. 

The weather warmed up a bit and we brought Piper to the dog park,

her favorite place!

  

 

For both of my cards today I used some of the large sentiments from the All Inside set to create a bold background.  On one, I colored in selected letters with copics.  On the other, I left the background just black and white.  Both cards have some sparkle.  The first has some subtle shine from a Wink Of Stella pen and the second really shimmers from a few spritzes of

 WP9 Shimmer Spray.

 

This guy's arms are overflowing with hearts and love letters.  I've added color to all of the pieces with pinks and reds from WP9 Dye Inks.
