K and R Designs: Hello Dear Friend

Well, Hello! The little robins have returned to our yard even though there is still a little snow left on the ground.

I made this sunny card to share on the WPlus9 blog. This yellow guy is just the cutest. He's from a set called All Year Cheer.

I tried sponging on some clouds in the background using Bo Peep ink and the Landscape Border Dies as a stencil. The color softened as it dried and it made the 'clouds' less visible, but I like how subtle it is. I think next time though, I'd allow some ink to dry before adding more so I get a stronger color variation from one ink pad.

The sentiment is stamped on a circle cut using the Love Mom Layers Die and the adorable bow id from Sucker For You! Thanks so much for stopping by today. See you next time!
