Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Using another one of Lauren's templates, I created these two cute little "purses." Great for small gifts, gift cards, photos, or memorabilia. I used Papertrey's new Star Prints set and some of their cardstock, which I had never tried before. It's very thick and perfect for making boxes. These little boxes are so much sturdier than the cardstock I had been using. I also love the paper's surface for stamping. I still love my textured cardstock, but this paper is a must have if you like stamping and 3D paper crafting.
I decided to use small velcro dots to keep this purse closed, but you could use so many things. Origonally I was looking for Basic Grey's magnets, but couldn't find any in the store. This works well.
Sweet little Ladybug.

I saw this card design on the Craftiblog.
I couldn't wait to give it a try. It was really easy to make.

Your New Home

A good friend of mine just purchased her first home. I thought the pineapple was an appropriate image for the occasion since she will soon be welcoming guests to her home. I also wanted to find ways to use this stamp set for things other than just for fall or Thanksgiving. I used the leaf stamp to create the "patterned paper" strip.
Congratulations Katy!

I love summer. I know it's not officially summer yet, but today was so beautiful! We had our field day at school today and we couldn't have asked for better weather. I am looking forward to this nice, long Memorial Day weekend.
This little beach bag album is full of products by K & Company. Love the tropical patterns and colors.
I'm looking forward to a weekend in Cape May when school ends! I haven't been there since I was a little kid and I hear it is really beautiful. They have a lot of Victorian architecture, which I really love, and some of the nicest NJ beaches.
For My Grandma

This was the card I submitted for the challenge. I won all of these great products from Scrap Within Reach. I had never heard of them before, but I am really enjoying their papers, ribbon, and especially their rub ons. Anyone who has struggled with hard to use rub ons that end up ruining your project will appreciate the ease of use and quality of transfer that these rub ons provide. Kristins sent me their Afternoon Tea collection (used on this card) and their Industrial Park collection.
