Modern Birthday Wishes

Good Morning! It's the start of a beautiful 3 day weekend for us here.  I'm excited to get some things done around the house, visit with friends, and spend some time in my craft room.

I love triangles; they are definitely my favorite shape to design with.  I love using this one simple stamp from ME Trifecta to create patterns.  It's so much fun to experiment with color combinations, too.  Here I've used pinks, green, and black for a really modern feminine look.  The Modern Peonies stamped on top add to feminine feel.

This could easily be made masculine by changing the colors and leaving off the peonies.  Experiment with other line images stamped on top to create all sorts of different looks!

Congrats Grad!

My nephew graduated from High School Monday night.  He's the second of my brother's sons to graduate.  I'm feeling old guys.  It kind of slipped my mind, which further enforces the getting older idea.  lol! Actually they live in the south and school ends sooner there than here in the north which is why I thought I had more time.  I whipped up this card very quickly and got it into the mail.  I think the $$ inside will make up for it being a little late!

I started with this awesome Herringbone Background set from Papertrey Ink.  I also used PTI's Military Hero stamp set for my sentiment because I love the fonts.  If you love PTI check out my For Sale page, so many great PTI sets and dies still available.

For the cute little graduation caps I went to a set from WP9 called Smart Kitty.  I coated them with some Wink of Stella for a little shimmer, not too much, just a little to make the card special.

Little Dreamers

Hey Ya'll! My Florida is coming out today ;)  Just wanted to pop in and share this card featuring the sweet new WP9 Little Dreamers.  This new set, as well as WP9 Stardust, goes so well with the WP9 Starry Night Background die.  It's sold out right now, but hopefully will be back in stock soon. If you already have it, or something similar, it's a great compliment. 

Just some simple Copic coloring and die layering on this one.  Those cute little animals are the 'stars'! Ha!

WPlus9 Big Deal Additions and Satrdust

Happy Saturday! I'm still playing around with the new WPlus9 release.  This time I put together a card using a the Big Deal Additions set and dies.  This one is for a friend's son whose birthday is on Tuesday.

This new additions set coordinates perfectly with the original Big Deal set.  Imagine all of the scenes you could create!  I also added in some stars from the  new Stardust set.
