Feel Better, Daisy

I made this card for my mother-in-law.  She is recovering from surgery.  I decided to use some of her beautiful handmade paper on my card.  After a recent trip to Italy, she was inspired by all of the handmade papers she saw there.  I have been hoarding all of the pieces she has given me, until now!

Daisy is a nickname for my mother-in-law that came out of a funny conversation we had about what I would call her.  When my husband and I got married I was 29 almost 30 and calling her mom just seemed strange.  Calling her by her first name, Elaine, felt weird too. 

 Daisy it is!

Love Grows

Believe it or not, we are getting more snow!  It seems I don't remember what the streets look like without it.  Unfortunately, Ryan slipped while snow blowing the driveway and broke two of his fingers.  Shattered the bones in the tips!  So if you are like us, surrounded by snow, be careful:)

We are enjoying a nice, lazy Saturday at home.

Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop Challenge

4 Months Early

This year my husband and I will be married 8 years. 

 My bridesmaids wore a color very similar to PTI's Spring Rain.

Our anniversary card is made, only one problem....our anniversary isn't until May:)
