Today is the first day of the WPlus9 June Release!  All three cards today use the new Happy Mail Stamp Set and Dies. This is Joni's second set with WPlus9 and it is adorable!  This set will be available for purchase on the 5th along with all the other new products. 
We are also welcoming a new design team member, Kelly Latevola!  She's so talented and I am looking forward to working with her and seeing what she creates!

Stamps: Happy Mail // Dies: Happy Mail, Love Mom Layers // Spray Mist: Lake House // Cardstock: Lake House, Black, White

 

For this card I started by creating the background with some Lake House Spray Mist.  I put a little onto my craft sheet and then dipped my cardstock into it.  I dried it, between layers, to get varying  concentrations of color and droplets.

 

 

I wanted each die cut to be layered up with a second that was cut away to reveal a portion of the die cut underneath.  For the bunny, it was his ear; the bear, his one paw; the birds' wings etc..

 

 

For this next card I did a little masking to create the stack of critters on the tree stump.  They're all helping that little squirrel get up high enough to see the tiny butterfly...so cute!  I just love these images.

For my final card today I wanted to give the impression that this sweet bear is so enchanted by the butterfly that he falls over backwards trying to get a good look at it! Luckily for him, the butterfly gives him a close up look when he lands on his nose.

 The last bear, on the right, is on an action wobbler.  You really get the effect of him falling when you tap him or give the card a little jiggle!
