Good Morning!
I just have a quick and simple card to share that I made using leftovers on my desk. A vellum circle left over from this project. A banner cut while making this project. A few hibiscus die cuts that were cut when I was making this project.

The little hibiscus die cuts are so cute. They are intended to accessorize the flip flops, but I wanted to die cut a ton of them and glue them down to create a background. That never happened! lol Too much work! I colored these, and their leaves, with my Copic markers.
Thanks so much for stopping by! It's Monday... I hope you have a little more energy than Piper this morning ;)

Cute card Kara! I also love your idea of challenging yourself to make a card using the leftovers on the table. I always have little bits and pieces that just pile up and when I get tired of looking at them I sweep them away.
ReplyDeleteFantastic leftover card Kara, but I am sorry but Piper stole the spotlight! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am loving the left overs. I tend to make myself do this periodically to clean up my desk. I actually need to do it again. I like how you layered the black banner over the vellum circle. Breaks it up. I always feel when I put a circle on a card that I have to "fill it up" with something. I am going to try your technique sometime.
ReplyDeleteThe card is stunning, but I think Piper has exactly the right idea!
ReplyDeleteNot much more, Kara! This is just delightful - I do so love leftovers!

Oh I could lay down on the floor like that! And I LOVE your leftovers!
ReplyDeleteLovely card using up your leftovers Kara!! Piper looks perfectly content!!
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white and the simplicity of your design! Looks like Piper's sure enjoying her peaceful Monday morning!
ReplyDeleteLove the B&W with the vellum circle and the cute hibiscus flowers, Kara!!! So beautiful!!!
ReplyDeletePiper is starting the week the right way!!!
