I'm really excited to have been invited to be Serendipity Stamps February Guest Designer. This month's challenge theme is {what else?} Valentine's Day/Love! For my card today I used the super cool Marble Waves Background stamp. I LOVE this stamp. There's also another really cool one called Marble Feathers Background that I want to add to my collections also. Both of these stamps remind me of the beautiful handmade paper my mother-in-law brought me from Italy several years ago. I still haven't used those. They are too beautiful to cut up, but with these stamps, I can make my own.
I also used several dies to embellish my tag and create a mini shaker of sorts. I die cut the Mini Scroll Heart and Scallop Heart from some paper stamped with the marble background and then again from acetate {twice}. The two pieces of acetate are glued together around the edges with some fun, pink iridescent, heart glitter sandwiched between them. I then adhered that behind the die cut heart frame. The frame is created by die cutting the heart with the scroll heart die in the center. The solid acetate hearts were cut when the two dies are separated. Then I layered all of the pieces together with the Love die cut to finish off the card.
Thank you to Serendipity Stamps for having me this month!
