Hello!
Just got home from physical therapy and decided I had a little creative energy to release too. My leg is getting better slowly, but I'm happy to report I can walk up the stairs putting pressure on my leg. Down the stairs is a different story, but I'm getting there.
I started off by running my card front through my Cuttlebug with the stitched border rectangle die from Holiday Apertures. I then masked off the center ,lining the masks up with the stitched lines.
I then stamped the string of lights, from Festive Greetings, repeatedly to fill the space. After coloring the lights with Copics, I added a highlight with a white gel pen, and finally I coated them with my clear Wink of Stella Glitter pen. The metal caps on the lights were colored with a silver Wink of Stella glitter pen.
I gave that a second to dry and then I stamped the word Christmas from Hand Lettered Holiday. I die cut the word Merry using the Hand Lettered Holiday Die and inlaid a second one that was die cut with black cardstock. I couldn't resist covering the word in glitter too!
Have a great night.
I'll be adding this week's projects to the
