Well, this was a fun one to make.
So easy too!
When I put together the August kits for the 12 Kits Of Occasions, I included some White Board Paper by DCWV. It's a glossy white paper that you can use just like the white boards in school. I saw the huge pack at Michael's and the ideas started coming, but did I really need 36 12x12 pieces of it? Nope. But.....if I shared the pack with 11 friends couldn't I justify buying it? Yup! So that's how it came to be added to the kit. I thought it would be cute to create cards for kids where they could play tic-tac-toe or road trip games for kids to play in the car using dry erase markers.
But I didn't do any of those things...yet. I can't wait until Sunday when I get to see what everyone else in the group has done with theirs.
What I did end up trying today was using this glossy paper with my Copic refills. I dripped the colors on, one by one, blowing each color around before it dried. I think the blue looks like a camel! This would be fun to do with kids, like making cloud pictures.
Once the ink was dry, I glued down a sentiment die cut from the same gold foil paper I used the other day. I also created to border strips from the gold paper.
I think the colors look so beautiful
and I can't wait to try this again very soon!
