This month it was Suzanne's turn to create a kit for the 12 of us to use.
(Photo of kit contents below)
The first two months I created one card from the kit. The other ladies really showed me up by creating multiple projects. It was time for me to step up my game. So, today I have 4 projects to share with you all made from Suzanne's kit. I added a few products here and there.
Aren't these little bells awesome! I think they were my favorite part of the kit. On this card I added the brown card base and the little scallop border made from PTI's heart border die.
Another beautiful piece of this kit was this stripped ribbon. I knew I wanted it to be the star of my project so I tried to pick accents that were minimal, but added something special to the design. I LOVE this card!

Then I decided that not only am I scrambling to get cards made around the holidays, but also gift tags. I decided to use a few accents from the kit to create cute, one-of-a-kind tags!
Check out what the other girls have made.
I can't wait to see myself!

Your cards and tags are just incredible. That little birdie with the santa hat and all the glitter is just so sweet! I love how you added the antique jingle bells to your first card but the card with the bitty red bird is my favorite, just so sweet with the holly leaves the button berry, so adorable.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to do tags, and the glitter bird is beautiful. The brown tone card has a warm cozy cabin feel to it, love that! My favorite is the one with the tiny birdhouse and that fabulous tied ribbon with a bit of holly. I love that one too! Great projects Kara!
ReplyDeleteOMG Kara! I am just loving this month's cards from everyone. I'm seeing so many I want to CASE with my leftover goodies from Suzanne! That first card is so neutral and I love it especially with the addition of the bells! PERFECT! Now you will get me to buy those word dies from PTI won't you?? Gorgeous card with that striped bow. GREAT idea to use some of the other things to make tags! We all could use those around the holidays!
ReplyDeleteOh my...all of your projects are such beauties. I really love the sweet little bird house on the Merry card. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous samples Kara and I always love what you do with the little birds. Great tags and I will probably be back to case nearer to Christmas. TFS

Fabulous, Kara!
Kara, you totally knocked this challenge out of the park! Your first card is absolutely gorgeous! I love the monochromatic neutrals and the way you tied the little bells. Your second card is definitely "merry", with the perfect minimal embellishments to go with the ribbon. And I hadn't even thought about starting on tags yet, so I'll have to use some of my leftover supplies to do that! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteKara, they're all so fantastic. I love the bells on the first one - the perfect touch...and the bird/merry card is just so amazing. I really think I want that die now...you always use it so well.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Kara on making 4 projects this time!!! My absolute favorite is the second with the bird and the merry on the text paper....CA-UTE!! I love the way that you hung the multiple bells on the first card, and the brown scheme is gorgeous. I like the way the lace is tied off the side, too. Then you made the cute bird tag with the sparkly bird!! SWEET :) And I love the way the buttons are on top of and behind the noel sentiment on the last tag. You went all out with this kit!
ReplyDeleteWow Kara, when you step up you really step up. First off I thought oh I love that first card with the jingle bells--my favourite. Then I see the second card and love it just as much, that ribbon is awesome. Your tags are fantastic too. Great job.
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS! Had to shout it! Kara, that Merry card is the cutest card...ever! I love the cute birdhouse, little birds, and the holly and buttons. I want to try to make that card. I love the first card too with the bells, my old eyes could not see good enough to thread them! Your tags were so great this month too. So pretty with the Noel sentiment and cute bird with the Santa hat. great job this month and thanks so much for taking a great pic for us all to use on our posts!
ReplyDeleteKara, these are absolutely SPECTACULAR! The neutral card is wonderful--great way to use the lace and those bells are adorable! Thank goodness I only used one of mine so have some for CASEing! My favorite though is your 'MERRY' bird card with that fabulous ribbon--i love birds and this is SO ADORABLE--I think another CASE for sure!! Your tags are wonderful too. Thanks for all the marvelous inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove these, Kara! You always have the best sketches for your cards :) Loving those red birdies and their house with the big ribbon and texty background. Those tags are so sweet...just enough detail but a design that's easy to replicate...so inspiring, as always!
ReplyDeleteI love your cards and your tags. How smart of you to make both. Lots to inspire me, as usual, with my leftovers. Ciao!
