A nice flat, holiday card! Love these cool colors on a winter holiday themed card. I used PTI's new inks. My review: Long awaited and slightly overrated. I love having matching colors for my cardstock, ribbon, and buttons, but they do not provide solid "amazing" coverage. Images are blotchty. The new pad/case design is small and difficult to close securely. I had hoped for better performance with such rigorous testing being performed before their release. Not sure I'd order any more colors.
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome card! Appreciate the heads up on the ink.
ReplyDeleteYour card is like a cozy winter sweater! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the color combination of your card, Kara! Just to soft and elegant. Gorgeous background stamping. This set is on my wish. Waiting for Nov to come to buy it :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! Thanks for the review of the ink. I waited to see what people thought, and am disappointed it's not living up to the hype.
ReplyDeleteKara..this is amazing! Love the colors and that stamp set again. Your pushing me..I just might have to get this one.
ReplyDeleteLove this card and the colors you have chosen. I bought that WPlus9 set based on your last cards with it, and have yet to ink it up! But, you are giving me lots of ideas.
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the colors and the background. I agree about the inks.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! Thanks for your review of the ink, love your honesty.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I just love that background! The colors are beautiful, and the die cut word is just the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card , again great job with the colors too.
ReplyDeleteI love your card...the "blotchy"-ness you speak about makes the card more rustic...
ReplyDeleteThis is such an awesome card, Kara! I love the colors you've used, and I still want that stamp set from Wplus9! I also want the big word dies and stamp set (if only money grew on trees lol!)
ReplyDeletelove your card.
ReplyDeletefyi, when I have issues w coverage, I use this tip - first ink stamp in Versamark, then in color ink pad you want to use.
thanx for the inspiration!
Well, your card is so pretty, even with the ink problems (I think it looks wonderful btw).
ReplyDeleteYour background paper is perfect. Love the card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, you're totally making me regret the fact that I didn't get this set!! Fabulous card, Kara!
ReplyDeleteAnd, btw, I agree with you about the inks. I thought I'd try them and did, but am not thrilled. I think I'm more of a pigment ink girl.... so I'm stocking up on the A Muse Studio inks that match PTI colours and will try the new formula for the colours that don't have a match. That's my plan anyway...
I could kick myself for not getting those holiday word dies! Your card is gorgeous, especially with those fair isle stamps. I thought the same thing about the ink too. I used a little cube and my images were a little blotchy too.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this! So want those dies ... :)
ReplyDeleteKara, this is amazing! The color palette, the layout, everything. Such a well thought out and beautifully executed design. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the flat ones for the holiday mailing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card with a great color choice. Thanks for your review on the inks. You've confirmed my decision to go with A Muse and Impress inks.
ReplyDelete"Long awaited and slightly overrated." Perfect description. Your card is also perfect - the fair isle print is divine!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous card, Kara! I love the color combo for your "sweater" pattern! Sorry to hear about the inks...I am sticking with A Muse Studio inks and Fresh Ink. Once I tried those, there's no going back!
