You're Such A Dork

Happy Saturday Guys!  I wanted to stop in today and share a card I posted on the WPlus9 Blog last month.  I love this sweet/funny stamp set called Biggest Fan.  It was originally released as a 'gift with purchase' only stamp set and I was so happy when Dawn released it for sale in the WPlus9 store and with other retailers.

 

 

I've paired it with another favorite called Ink Splats.  I really think every stamper needs and ink splat set, whether it's this set or some other, it's very versatile.  I've used it on floral cards, on Mother's Day cards and on butterfly cards.

Perfect Petunias

Hey guys! Happy weekend!  I have a card to share all made with leftover pieces on my craft desk.  

 

 

The main stamped panel was left over from this project.  While I had all the stamps, from Unconditionally, on the acrylic block I figured I might as well stamp several for later use! 

 

 

The flowers are from the new Modern Petunias set and I stamped and colored them while working on this project. 

 

The black panel is stamped with the new Big Top Background and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I created it while working on this project, but didn't end up using it.

WPlus9 Release Day

Good Morning! Today is WPlus9 Release Day! So many great new stamp and die sets, including Modern Petunias.  I've used them today to create a quick gift tag.

I've also die cut the word 'Mom' from the Folk Art Alphabet Dies and colored them with three copics in an ombre' color scheme.  All the pieces are arranged on the Christmas Tag Die.  Inside this adorable window coffee bag is some homemade granola.  These bags are awesome.  I bought them from Papertrey Ink.

 

I love making my own granola.  It's cheaper and you can control all of the ingredients you put in it.  I follow this recipe from Niomi as a general guide, but add whatever I have on hand.
