Proud To Call You Friend

Tuesday, April 4, 2017

Hello! I hope you're having a great week so far.  I am excited because we are very close to Spring Break! I am so looking forward to some relaxing time off and warmer weather!

During the WPlus9 March Release I created these cards to showcase the new Petunia Builders set and dies.  I also used the cool new Big Top Background stamp.  I love it stamped in a pale grey color as a background for...just about anything!

These flowers are gorgeous stamped in a trio of your favorite colors.  The addition of this gorgeous hummingbird, from Flora and Fauna II is perfect for these trumpet flowers. For more details on these cards visit that original post here.  Have an awesome day!

Big Top Birthday

Wednesday, March 29, 2017

Hello again! Have you gotten your hands on the Big Top Background stamp yet?  It's one of my new favorites.  You can use it in so many ways.  Of course, it goes perfectly with the new Big Deal stamp set.

I shared these cards on the WPlus9 Blog during release week.  Check out that post if you want some more details on the stamps and how I made the cards.

I've already gotten the panda card in an envelope ready for a special young guy's birthday!  Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon!

Summer Sunshine

Monday, March 27, 2017

I had the day off today.  I was alone and the house was quiet.  You know what that means...crafting!  I was really in the mood to color.  I pulled out this set by Paper Smooches called Summer Lovin' because I wanted to daydream about warm weather.

I colored all of these images with Copics and cut them out, with scissors! How long has it been since I've done that.  Everything has coordinating dies these days we don't often have the opportunity to 'fussy' cut.  It was actually relaxing!

Each piece got a coating of clear Wink Of Stella glitter.  I set the scenes on a backdrop of ink blended color.  I mixed Peacock Feathers and Broken China Distress Ink.  Each card has a little surprise image on the inside too.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
