Peaceful Poinsettia

I love using this set. I especially like making my own patterned paper with it.

I'm getting a head start on all my little holiday gift packaging.

Have a great day!

Picnic In The Park

Monday was a beautiful day for a picnic.

Ryan made delicious fresh mozzarella, spinach, roasted red pepper, and homemade pesto sandwiches.

Lady had her own special treats too.

She never did get that chubby little groundhog, but she tried!

Christmas Gift Tags

I'm getting started on Christmas tags. I used Peaceful Poinsettia for all of these and a few stamps from Holiday Treats (snowflake and tree).

Polistes Dominulus

Every summer I clean the vinyl fence. This past summer Ryan was helping me and we came across this paper wasp nest. He got stung 3 times. They chased him all the way out to the street. Luckily, I had the hose so they couldn't get close to me.

We weren't sure what to do with it so we left it there. Now that weather has turned colder, they either abandoned it or died.

The nest has really cool colors and patterns.

Huge!

I just got the Milk Made template and wanted to throw one together to see how it looked. Really cute!

Ryan and I are going out for Indian food tonight. This will be our second time. We went for the first time a few months ago and it was delicious. My two favorite things from that meal were the samosas we had as an appetizer and the rasgulla I ordered for dessert! Can't wait!

WCMD {Mexico}

Well, I'll say this is definitely not my best work. I do however love the idea of using theses page pebble squares backed with patterned paper arranged to look like ceramic tiles. Definitely an idea I plan to revisit. Another idea would be to back them with solid colors, cut them into irregular shapes, and then assemble them into an image like mosaic tile.

WCMD {Japan}

For this project, using Japan as inspiration, I chose shades of gray accented by red. I wrapped ribbon several times to mimic the look of an obi.

Play along here for a chance to win awesome Papertrey prizes! I hope to be back later with Mexico, Australia, and India.

Unlikely Duo

Pink and purple is not a color combination I turn to often, if ever. The mums are everywhere now and I am seeing them in this color and they look beautiful.

I used a Heidi Swapp stamp for the sentiment and a dark purple Kaiser Craft jewel to add a little something:)

I'm having so much fun coloring these stamps!
